Eh, your sentence structure's a bit off, it'd make more sense if it was:

Tá lampa na sheomra suite lasta

Transliterated as: The lamp of the sitting room is lit!

And @hallion: Watch your fadas, bríste means trousers! Briste (without a fada) means broken :)
