    My best effort makes this "What do these have declaring it on you?" but I'm not entirely happy with it. What do you experts out there think?

    you aren't far off the mark here, I translate it as

    'what do these have that cofirm it for you?'

    I haven't consulted the refernece of this Gospel; which you have given so i'm not sure what the context is, but i hope this is helpful.
