query re use of Games

I am taking a look at the site to see if I can use it in some way to complement/supplement the work of our learners outside the classroom. I was trying out the word game, where you click on the picture after they say the word and try to keep the chain going. I might be doing something wrong but everytime I click the first picture its fine, but when I click the second pic it always tells me I've broken the word chain, even though I'm clicking the correct pic.

Am I doing something wrong?

How to Play WordFlash

WordFlash is a word chain game - when a square flashes and the audio plays, you have to click that square.

If you get the first word right, the computer replays that word, and then selects a new word.

You have to click the first word, THEN click the second word.

This continues. You have to try and build up the longest word chain you can manage!

I also took a while to finally figure out that the game works like those old "Simon" toys from years ago, to make the chain longer on each turn.
